Old conversations displayed in grey

Hey people,

While we're preparing ourselves to work on Andor's Trail's code and content as Zukero showed us, a few of our team members worked on a small idea for the game.

Some people on our side thought the conversations were not clear enough for the players, so they had the idea to put in grey the lines that have already been readen in order to give a better lisibility. The code is ready and works well.

Here what it looks like :

So, what do you guys think of this addition?

It never occurred to me that new lines in a dialogue needed highlighting, but why not.

It depends on the purpose:
1# Do you want to keep track of all dialogues already visited, so that when you return to a NPC, you see what he already said to you ?
#2 or do you want to simply highlight what he said since your last reply/next-button-press ?

For #1 I'd say no. Too much to keep track of.

Yes it's actually #2, it highlights the last NPC line and our reply when there's one.

I tested it, and approved.
It's now merged in the mainline codebase, and will be present in the next release !
