Its just a means of getting money early on. You can stop at any time.

I think Voom and drager make a good point. And I"ve noticed that a lot of the negative comments or reviews in the play store are around the amount of grinding involved. If it wasn't seemingly so heavy early on, it might help.

I'm sure we can be creative. In this spirit, what other types of quests could we have other than those already implemented?
Maybe achievement type quests. For example, "Discover 5/10/20/50... new beasts." And after "Talk to the Historian/Naturalist."
We can call this quest What Lurks In The Shadows. The reason is that villagers are seeing very strange creatures recently and want to know what the heck is going on.
Other ideas:
Money spent...
Cities visited...
Steps walked...
# of Andor clues...
Rare and legendary equipment found...

There seems to be two main stories that I'm afraid might converge into one later on.
Finding Andor & Discovering Dhayavar's history of good and evil and its current status.
But... we can take advantage of these two narratives, one personal and the other not, in terms of quests. As the stories progress the character learns more and more about each narrative. Most of the time they are evidently related, but sometimes they are not (basically everything that doesn't have to do with Andor).

Is anyone working on early quests?

Great! This will certainly be a good improvement. Definitely fix up ur workspace. I can't function properly without a neat desk or clear goals, but that's just me.

The AT story can be captivating just as it is, but imagine we add this other factor in where boy wonder meets the physical and tries to reconcile in his mind the meaning of it all. What physical? Well, the weird creatures seen and fought, the strange artifacts and gems discovered, the people met, the rarity of equipment found along the way, etc. I believe these types of quests will only immerse us into the story even more, not detract from it. And THAT is the goal! :)

Btw, I love your signature format. It is very clear. I might just snag it!

Dad's chores can be things like helping a certain family by clearing the critters in the basement, ;) . They don't have to be fetching chores.

Another quest could be to look for missing children and bringing them back to their parents.

A modified version of fetch and return. We can be more creative than this.

Yes we can. I think achievement quests are a way to go, like I mentioned.
We just need someone to do them... nyktos is where it's at.
