Yup. I realized that yesterday. I've not played in about 2 years so my details are rusty.

I think I am going to go with the light armor now as the heavy is just not as good. Even though the Shadowstalker is IMO the best armor, it is just not worth all the skill points needed to eliminate the AP penalty. Even though it fits nicely with this build, all the other heavy equipment fails to help a build that uses critical hits.

I agree that the AP penalty of Shadowstalker is kind of a killer. IMO it would be better balanced if the Fear condition were x2 or even x3, instead of only x1 (which, against a bad beastie, does very little).

I'm telling you guys, put some level-ups in BC!
This is my first build were I haven't upped my BC. With a BC of only 57%, I can't get to Remgard at level 25. Hell, I can't even get to the cave at the end of the river.

yeah, i was reluctant to make a build with higher than normal BC (for me) and i really like how it turned out...

You don't need combat speed, just use minor speed potions. And forget shadow stalker, get Serpernt's Hauberk (best armor) or lightweight splint mail(2nd best?)

Duke,. I love the Shadowstalker, but I decided two days ago to go light armor because it generates a better build.

I was able to complete the "destined for great things" quest, but not before burning through 45 bonemeal potions.
This character is a very weak defender.
