I have a small problem with the quest "Flows through the vains"
After questioning everyone and you confront Buceth you have no option to side with Feygard without killing him.
I did the quest at level one and wasn't strong enough to kill him so I reluctantly let him go.
Why can't I play along and then rat him out to the gaurds at the long house?

No reason, other than it wasn't written that way. IMO, what you suggest would have been a good option, but changing the possible outcomes of existing quests is not desirable.

You have to kill Buceth to get the proof.

Although you can't actually prove that the "vial of green liquid" came from Buceth

What's the best option for this quest, considering possible future updates? Kill Buceth or keep him alive?
Is it best to just leave the quest incompleted until new updates come (especially Nor City update)?

The ultimate consequences of your choices regarding this quest have not been written yet. What is rather certain is that you will not have a "best" choice, just alternative choices. And you will not know the consequences (except perhaps by mining the forums) until it's too late to change them anyway. So, hold your nose, and jump

Did Buceth and Andor poison the well? Maybe the well was poisoned by Feygard and the green vial reversed the effects?

Buceth seems to be trying awfully hard to justify it if he was actually undoing it.
