Can someone explain to me how the dice rolls work?

Can someone clarify what the AC is, if AC-BC is less than 50, as I read somewhere it rounds up to 50, but the graph contradicts this. Is this still the case as if so, you could argue that AC is worthless and plough points into AD, as the fewer hits would be offset by massive damage.

I'm not sure I understand your problem. 1) AC is your Attack chance. (for example 93)
2) BC is the monsters Block chance. (for example 30)
3) AC - BC is the difference. (93 - 30 = 63)
4) Determine the value of the function. (f(63) = 60)
5) The result is your chance to successfully hit this monster on one hit.

It's OK. I re-read the discussion page where a boost factor was referred to which had been suggested to boost your final AC if it was very low, but I see it wasn't implemented, or at least I think not.Samuel wrote:I'm not sure I understand your problem. As usual you have come through for us again with very useful info.
Armed with this new info I went ahead and calculated my "real" attack chance on the bm monsters. Seeing that I need to level-up my ac multiple times just to gain two % has lead me to rethink my strategy. I will now be increasing my AD & HP only when leveling-up for a while.

Thanks for the feedback and especially the calculations. I knew from playing that it wasn't a simple Hit chance = AC-BC, as the zombies in Flagstone could hit me even when AC-BC= zero. As I like killing mobs quickly, I went for AC until I felt i was hitting at least 75% of the time then went for AD, only increasing HP sufficiently to avoid being one shotted and BC to make most mobs miss more often than not. can someone explain ,to prevent the monster from hitting you is there an idea block situation, so that will not get the posion, it the formula same as the attack ones

If I got you right.
For each successfull attack of a monster there is an active condition chance. (For minor fatigue it is 50%.)
Currently there is no magic resistance that lowers the chance. (it will be introduced with the skills.) So you have to increase you BC so that the monster misses you more.

Can someone explain how Evasion skill works (Im sorry, I think i bother (again) you Samuel).
After played a while with and without Evasion im still unsure how it works. I like to know what is propablity that monster neart to you attack (min-max, I think it debents of monster type) and how the Evasion skill helps ?
