There's a quest you have to start before that question even becomes relevant.

same here - where is the hideout? i found a hole in a wall and it said that someone may have hid there

Well I myself can't really find crackshot, the guard says the hideout is close to some burrowers but I can't find them

burrowers is on the way to remgard

There is more than one place you can find burrowers. Remgard is rather a long way from the guard, so he's not likely to know about anything out in that direction.

come on man he pretty much gave you the answer. Why don't you go back to where that quest ended and see what you find in the area?

Howdy fellas, new to the game and to the Forum!
I've been having difficulties with the Ruthless Crackshot quest. I followed the advice of you fellows in forum and retraced my steps to deep wound and even some further exploration to the outcasts village and the horrible slime cave.
However I can't find crackshot or his bandits anywhere? I've asked the guards, they told me to go south. Did I skip a quest step that then spawns the mobs, or is this a bug?

I cannot seem to finish Mine for the Taking. I have the item and have revisited woodtown and the drunk with a hard life, but, the dialogue does not let me finish the quest. It tells me to stop waving the item around and the only option is to click the leave button.

I understand I should choose between giving up the item or not, but there does not seem to be a way to register finishing the quest without (perhaps?) dropping the item?
