Charwood Area Quests

Long lost memories:
In a cabin just off the Dulelian road, meet Lleglaris. After boasting(?) to him of exploits so far, he asks to get an Amulet lost by him.
Travel to east of the cabin to a cave of zombies, etc. The ground around the cave is purple and brown, corrupted,as mentioned by Lleglaris.
On getting back the Amulet, you get a thanks and offer to trade with him.
Destined for great things:
In the same cabin as featured in the Quest above, the other person talks about troubles in Charwood, a mining town. This is also confirmed by some shady characters in a camp near the cave of zombies and undead.
Go to Charwood cabin. Talk to Maevalia. She asks you to find four people.
After talking to the guard outside their cabin about talking to Maevalia, he allows you to go to Charwood.
Before climbing the hills to Charwood, explore around for an Oegyth crystal.
While climbing to Charwood, you encounter a monster speaking of some Thukuzun.
In the town, explore all cabins, to find tied people, or those who have been killed.
Return to the Charwood cabin for thanks and a further quest by Maevallia.
Completing that, Maelavia thanks again, and asks to talk to the weapons master and the armorer, who teach 1 new skill each as thanks.
Trial by fire:
Maelavia asks to talk to someone in Charwood cabin, for story on how their mining town was overrun by monsters
Then you talk to Maelavia, and get the quest of exploring deeper into the Charwood mine.
While fighting the monsters, the air keeps getting hotter while you go deeper.
After crossing lava filled areas, you finally encounter a dragon, which needs to be eliminated. The dragon is the Thukuzun. After eliminating it, take its bone to Maelavia.

I don't appear to be able to "boast" to initiate the "Long Lost Memories" quest.

I can't find the entrance to the Charwood mine to try "Trial by Fire". Too many damn goblins running around to be able to search.

When entering the Ruins of the Town of Charwood head all the way north as far as you can and then head east.... after than head south and you should find the opening to the mine... Be careful in there, it's dangerous!

Well, I've gone as far north as I can go, which is just in front of the northernmost house, a d can't go very far east because there's a cliff, so I headed back south, past the Mazarth beasts, and then I get to a point where I can't go any farther south, but there are so many goblins I spend all my time killing the same goblins over and over again and can't really do much exploring. Oh, well, I guess it's back to the spider cave to finish up my Remgard quests. Thanks. I'll try again later.
Katie

Well, I finally found the mine entrance
I just wasn't far enough south. Thanks Fire Lord

Oh, man, are you ever right about it being dangerous in there. I might have to keep killing monsters until I level up, then die and come back with more potions. I've used 100 so far kust getting there and exploring the first little bit of the tunnels. I only had 500 to begin with, and at the rate I'm burning through them, they're not going to last long :o

Katie, for quicker leveling I'd recommend the Iquan caves back to the far north-west. A single run (all the way through and back out) can generate well over 30k XP depending on how long it takes you. I typically try to spend 3 minutes in the last cavern that way every room on the way back has had a chance to respawn everything.

+1 I second this suggestion.

It would be easier to gain a few levels in the Iqhan caves since you stats are still a bit low for the Charwood area. If you are a fan of using Criticals.... there is a nifty weapon at the end of the cave you might want to get. :)
