I'm not able to start "long lost memories" even after having completed "destined for great things". i'm gonna try it after having found the amulet first.

edit: cleared my way thru to the amulet, but he still won't start the quest for me. how much life experience does one need to start his quest?

There are 2 guys in that cabin:
1. Which guy are you talking to?
2. Are you able to choose:
a) I was the one who killed the linch?
b) I was the one who settled bws/prim?

Just finished destined for great things and was hoping I could get a rundown of what the benefits of the skills the weapons teacher and armorer are? Before I regret a short-sighted decision :P

Your choice depends on with what armor/weapon you want to fight.
The weapon skills increase mainly attack chance of their category, armor skills the block chance.

The weapon proficiencies
are all the same, 30% AC and BC, 10% crit, except, unarmed, which is 20% AC, 2 dmg, 5% BC
The armor prof are each different...just save your guy, before you make a choice, then make a choice, see what it offers, then reload the save, make a different choice, etc...
