How to start "The dark protector" quest?
I've already looked through the forum, but failed to find an answer. I was under impression, that to start the quest I need to get "strange looking helmet" after defeating Toszylae lich (http://andorstrail.irkalla.cz/0.7.0/mon ... p#toszylae), but I didn't get one. Are there any pre-conditions for this quest or, maybe, it was removed from the game?

You need to talk with Ulirfendor, who is at the opposite end of that area.

Sure I did. He asked me to look through the cave, then I got to the guard, got back to Ulirfendor, talked to him again, knew the "passphrase" (the one about "my body is for you" or something), got back to he cave, killed both the guard and the lich, but there was no helmet on his body and there is no dialog option with Ulirfendor that leads to the quest.
Moreover, I also have no option to tell Ulirfendor or Talion that I've killed the lich, only "OK, I'll get back once I kill it".

You have to actually step on the lich's body to get the helmet. Or so I think.

Oh my, you are right. Although it is not on the lich's body, but rather on the place where it would have been, as there is nothing on the ground, but when I step over I see a pop-up message.Zukero wrote:You have to actually step on the lich's body to get the helmet. Or so I think.
Also, I don't see why "I killed the lich" thing is tied to having the helmet. Going back and forth, cutting through all those nasty creatures under rotworms was far from fun
