Hey guys. So I have picked this game up after not playing for a couple years. But I am not sure what i should be doing. I just completed BWM quests and decided to head to Charwood and got smashed around like a rabid dog once i got 2/3rds up.

Here are my stats.
Lvl 24

Gear and stats option one
Leather cap of reduced vision
Hardened leather shirt
Villains ring x2
Thieves gloves
Vacors boots
Jewel of fallhaven
Shadowslayer

Ap 12/12
Ac 183%
Ad 18-31
Chs 10
Cm 2.0
C 9%
Bc 51%
Dr 3
Attack cost 6

Gears and stats option 2
Everthing but the weapon and shield are the same.
Quickstrike dagger
Wooden defender

Ap 10/10
Ac 170%
Ad 12-20
Bc 45%
Dr 4
Attack cost 2

Skills are
Hard hit 1
Bark skin 2
IF 1
Regen 1
Fs two handed 1.

I do love the second option because 5 attacks in one go is amazing. But when I played a few years ago i used a similar setup which is why i have been going the other route from time to time.

My questions are is there a quest I am missing that I should do before Charwood or should I head somewhere and grind for a legendary item and gain some levels?
Also any gear changes.

Thanks guys.

Charwood is hard. IMO, only the Green Maze is harder. So do all the quests around Crossglen, Fallhaven, Vilegard, and Loneford (you have done BWM). Then head towards Remgard. That's not easy either, but it's easier than Charwood.

Unfortunately, the way the game mechanics work lower attack cost weapons are almost always better. We are working on a fix for that, but it will take a while. However, since you have already invested skill points in two handed weapons, maybe you should continue that route. There is one in particular that is very good, but hard to get until later in the game.

I guess I should have said BWM was my last quest area. I have completed 31 quests already. So I will head to Remgard. Thanks.

Sounds like a plan. There are some places along the way where you can gain some XP.

I should also have said "welcome to the forums" :)
