So i am preparing my character for the green maaze thats why i am collecting my euipments now...

And i thought that boots of globetrotters I dont know where to find halvor next...please help me finish this quest!!!

That will depend on where you last saw him.

If you say that you're entering the green maze that means you must be a pretty high rank. So you shouldve went to Remgaurd.
May I offer my humble insignificant opinion of scouring the Charwood area?

If you want the best pair of boots in the game, why wouldn't you want to help him?

It's not as if rat tails are hard to come by, you can even buy them, 5 rat tails for 2 gold!

Okay, I think I missed something. After sending him away in Crossglen, I can't find him anywhere. Did I block the quest or am I missing a step? I visited all the places on the list...

Leave Stoutford, head north west towards prim & blackwater. Walk up the stairs towards the cave entrance. To the left of the cave, you will find Halvor.

Amazing, I had walked pass him at least 10 times looking for him.
