does Blackwater maze map change on you?

Hey guys. I have the same problem. Exactly at the point where the original post describes I can't pass anymore. I have already been through the mace two times with another character and now I can't make it anymore. Sadly I also can't reach the big room.
Was a solution found? I love the game and would be sad to start yet another new character because I got stuck again

Hello Eillie, and welcome to the forums.

The maze is different for different characters. They are all passable though, we have double checked this (because at one point there was a bug, and one variation of the maze was not passable).

The best way to learn your way through a maze in the dark is to leave breadcrumbs. They remain visible.

That just means that there is no passageway outside that door. You have to try another way. No breadcrumbs in that pic, i noticed. Really - bring dozens of cheap trash items with you and leave one on every walkable spot until you find a way through. Even though every single time you move, you have to close that darn dialog box to leave your item in place. It's really worth it.

I drop small rocks as breadcrumbs. I have a lot of them, and they have no other use.

yes ..it does change everytime you play another game/character actually...i think
