Somehow I always thought you can only get two level of cleave, but the description does not actually state the limit. So is there an actual limit to cleave? I mean, it's quite ridiculous if you can recover more than 12 AP...

Well it wouldn't be more than 12. You would use it to kill one Sprite and recover it again. Theoretically you could do more than 2. But need 3 on weapon accuracy and 3 hard hit. By than you would be above level 90's. So it wouldn't be needed in my opinion
