I keep trying to work through the undead graveyard to defeat the guy with the key, but petrification is killing me! Literally. Is there anyway I can get through this? Potion perhaps? I'm desperate

Nope, Combat Speed, perhaps some small potion of speed (don't know how they are called in Englisch), lots of Bonemail Potions as well as the ones from Lodar, High AC and BC, all kind of regeneration like food, ROLS, enough damage to deal with one swing.
Cleave can be really great here as it provides you with more AP.

I really would leave that to the last - do everything possible first before you try this.

Awesome! Thank you very much! Only issue now is, I've no clue how to get into the dungeon, and I really dontg wanna spent to much more gold on the guard, if I can help it. Any hints?

Ok, I've officially completed Roses. Wooo! Though I still can't complete the girl's quest in Stoutford. Don't know what to do next. Also, I heard someone mention about an easier path to Lodar, i believe? Am I correct in that assumption? And if so, and tiny helpful tidbits on where to find it? Found a guy named Half of just outside the inn at Crossglen. He asked me for stuff, but when I gave him eat tails, he kept asking for more. Then more. And more... Finally I just told him I had enough, and he left. But the quest is still open. Where'd he go? At least give me a hint plz. I'd really prefer not to have to traverse every single square inch of the map just to look for him, if I can help it. Also I can't finish the girl's quest. The guy just won't stop singing and bragging. Thx
