Antison wrote: Sun Aug 16, 2020 11:41 am Snake cave is where I always go to grind when lower than level 15. It is tedious because of the back and forth trips to Crossglen to sleep, but I make a game of it. Challenge myself to get as deep into the cave but still kill everyone of them and not use a healer
Dito :-)
Depth of the cave you get to is a good progress indicator.

And, 5 to 15 or even 20 needs more xp quest love.

As of now I don't see the beginning need any more help.
Once you do the crossglen quest, you should hit level 5 easily.
You don't want to make the whole game a cake walk though

With the gloves, armor and shield, it helps alot. And just by doing the early quest (just started the snake cave now but...

CUMHACHTACH
Standard
(Unlimited lives and saves)
Level 5
Total experience 2682
Health points (HP): 10/27
Experience points (XP): 1032/ 1375
And if you grind lightly at the snake cave and then shoot to fallhaven, you should hit level 9-10 without anyajor grind.
You guys did well in the beginning. I only wonder why you guys didn't make a hat to start off the character. I can see no shoes and all

The hat is available to buy in Crossglen.
I figured getting the leather shoes dropped from the wolves is good enough.

Fair enough. Well you (all) did a great job doing the stuff in the beginning

Yep, I fully agree. A lot of grinding was necsessary in the previous version, but now lvl 5 in crossglen is easily reached. I'd say that beggining lvls are now (in the 0.7.12) well balanced, I mean it's not a piece of cake, but we don't need to grind as much as we used before.

Earning gold still demands a lot of time. I was looking forward to this change. Leveling up wasn't an issue for me.

Just a suggestion. Please make ring of venom accessible early in the game, either through a loot drop (quest) or reducing the price significantly.

It's most useful in the beginning areas where HP of most monsters is below 50.

I noticed Lord Erwyn keeps adding XP (320+) if I don't use the coins. Could be useful for grinding in early levels.

I think giving small amounts of xp for the rat tails quest from surprise? With Havlor would help greatly
