I don't mind people not offering help. Nobody has any obligation to do that. But then they have no right to complain that someone else is not working hard enough on their behalf.

Especially when you are doing this work in your spare time, prioritizing it over family and a host of other things you could be doing. Thanks for all the work you are doing.

Yeah totally, I like to think of these types of posts as they really care about the game/project or they wouldn't take the time to write it, even if it is from a negative perspective.

The thing I'd like people to keep in mind before writing something like that is; how you express feelings makes a huge difference in how receptively your feelings will be heard.

You can help make your point by explaining more about the source of the feeling. A good sentence-starter for this explanation is “My concern is ….” e.g., "My concern is that I don't see an end in sight for the release of the next update." This is a way of expressing that feeling without being negative.
