Guide to Picking a Build

I thought about what makes up a build, all the factors.

I have simply assigned numbers to each category you see so that you can quickly describe a build using just a set of numbers, like a code.

Instructions to making your own character code
Fighting Style Pick 1 number describing your fighting style.
Class Pick 4 numbers describing your class totaling no more than 10. Each number should range from 0 (none) to 3 (high) in order from left to right, Offense, Defense, Critical, Immunity.
Proficiency Pick all the numbers that you have chosen as your character's proficiencies.

Example codes (unlimited variations possible)
Lvl 25 - [1/3102/3] - Dual wielding speedster with decent health, Ninja build variation
Lvl 45 - [3/1303/16] - Bare-armored tank that's ultra healthy, Wild Rhino Hide build
Lvl 35 - [2/3231/36] - Two-handed crit'ter packing a heavy punch, Gambit build variation
Lvl 200 - [123/3333/56] - Angel class  (not even remotely possible)

What's your build code?

Peg's a 2/4/3/2/1/3/6, maybe. http://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5560

Nice system for summarizing build characteristics. The commas in the "Angel class" build make the 1st level numbers easier to separate out by eye. How about using commas between all numbers within the levels, and continuing to separate levels with slashes? So in Peg's case, 2/4,3,2,1/3,6.

Then, order the level 2 categories for offense numbers first: offense, critical, defense, immunity, so in Peg's case 2/4,2,3,1/3,6. That makes it easier to tell more offensive characters when the first two numbers are bigger than the second two.

Rewriting your examples:

Lvl 25 - 1/4,0,2,3/3 - Dual wielding speedster with decent health - Ninja build variation
Lvl 45 - 3/2,0,5,5/1,6 - Bare-armored tank that's ultra healthy - Wild Rhino Hide build
Lvl 35 - 2/4,4,3,1/3,6 - Two-handed crit'ter packing a heavy punch - Gambit build variation
Lvl 200 - 1,2,3/5,5,5,5/5,6 - Angel class

Thank you, I really appreciate it b/c I have completely forgot this existed. Nobody replied to it so it might have been discarded as unnecessary. I like naming builds in some meaningful way, but some others have shown disapproval of labeling and that it compartmentalizes the aspects of this game in a way that wouldn't benefit AT.
However, I found this to be a good way to name builds for those that havea desire to compete and compare the best builds.

Your suggestion is good, I will use it.

Peg's code now looks like this [2/4321/36]. Hope that you find that it looks better.

^^^Update is available.
Changes include:
reorganizing and eliminating unnecessary parts
addition of weapon and shield types and averages of a few stats for each
de-abbreviating most stat, skill, and condition names
new color scheme

Hope everyone likes it and finds it useful. It is useful to me, even in my third character.
