Just conquered Flagstone at lvl 14, I made lvl 15 as I killed the winged Demon. I think my earliest before was at lvl 16 or 17.

I think I've got the hang of "hit and run" a bit better than with my first couple of characters. 8-)

Now it's time to stock up with potions for a level or two and hit Blackwater.

Hit and run is not for everyone, but I think it's a great technique. If you intend to use that technique, don't ignore the Evasion skill :)

I did use this technique to kill Hira'zinn for the first time. My character Marquinho wasn't strong enough to kill it easily, and I was out of supplies, had only 5 Bonemeals and 10 Meat. I had to reach Hira'zinn without being touched by the numerous Hirathils around it, attack it leaving a space where I could flee without going to a spot where I would be attacked by a Hirathil, then flee, save game quickly, run to the safe place without Hirathils at the start of the cave, wait to regen with Meat + Regen:1 skill, save, then repeat. :?

It took me around 30min to kill Hira'zinn doing this, I did load many times when trying to reach it without being touched by Hirathils. There were times that I managed to attack it evading the Hirathils, but I wasn't lucky to deal enough damage to him, so he did heal more than took dmg at the end and I had to load again.

Luckily enough, I killed Hira'zinn, managed to reach Lodar again, and did find out that he had his own Bonemeals potions that I could buy, so I did leave the Green Maze alive. It was such an adventure!

I must be learning something!
..........but obviously not enough - - I set off for Remgard, but had to turn back from the Spider Cave with a lack of AC.

Two level ups of AC, one skill point in WA and a couple of (temporary) equipment changes and I'm ready to try again. 8-)

I should have known better.

It'll be easier coming back.
