A simple solution would be to move the files or copy to a removable memory card on your phone/ device. Factory reset does not affect external sd cards just what is stored on device memory. That way you can always use xplore file manager to sort it out again in the event of an accident

All is forgiven. The randomness gods have decided that the lack of backup system was not my fault, and have granted me a boon.
My new template got an RoLS in less than 200 kills. Only took me about 30 minutes of saving/loading with 3 trainers around me. I was beyond lucky (somewhere ~6% chance of finding it that fast). I didn't go for 4 enemies because even 3 killed me (from full) reasonably often, even when they were all trainers and no masters, and had 1-2 HP left each.
I now have a level 1 character who has not started any quests, has solid equipment (QSD, Villain's Ring, JoF, Hardened Leather Shirt, other slots filled with crap), 39,000 unused experience, 8k extra cash, and an RoLS.
I can't decide if I want to get a 2nd RoLS on the template, or just leave it be. I'll probably just leave it be. The biggest thing is the Regeneration.
I will back up this save file somewhere, very soon.

my save files are in my memory card so i can't loose my precious lvl 67

I have never thought a second RoLS is worth the effort. Shadow Regeneration does not stack, so there are other rings that are almost as good (or depending on what stats you are after, better).
With 200 kills your chance of getting the RoLS was around 2%, not 6%

Whoops, left my old MF skill in the spreadsheet. Used to have a MF of 4.
