Cave SE of the graveyard

I found a cave to the southeast of the graveyard. The cave is full of gargoyles, at least at the first level. I can't get to the stairs to descend to the second level because there is a guardian that won't let me get close. What do I need to get past this guardian? Thanks.

Hello Inkmei, and welcome to the forums.
You need to speak to Cithurn, who lives west of the cave. You must circle around through Loneford to get to him. Whether he wants to speak to you is another matter.
