Crits are definitely worth getting.

Depends what you want really. By the time you can get Fracture and Internal bleeding not much can put up a fight anyway. I would go for them because... its cool you know

That might change over time, though, as new areas are added. Especially if you plan your build for it and therefore get to it sooner. But I do think those skills have too high a prerequisite.

It's a balancing act. We want some skills for those that have reached very high levels, even if that's not many players. But, as noted, by the time you get those skills you don't need them anyway. You can kill anything by just giving it a nasty look

Especially Fracture as it requires you get to level 56 at minimum

Which may mean that the balance is off, right?

Only issue I see with a crit build is, you still need to build a bit as a tank build. To start with. Then do alot of as I did. 2 attack on def for a while and only use skills to build hp. And never use a substance to heal. By the time you can do the mine the crit does pay off. (I have to admit I have not made a new char since this update though) i do want to make a true cuchulainn all unarmed (well he did have a weapon) but unarmed like a monk as he didn't have the luxury of metal items to wear

Starting as a tank build isn't necessary - that never occurred to me, actually. My main crit-build period, I focused on AC more than defense from the start, and counted on IF for HP from when skills were first introduced. This was many versions ago, though.

I like to kick the Arulir in the groin.
I have never chosen any of the strange skill like fracture or bleed. Just by using 2 or 3 points in More/Better criticals you can do crazy damage.

Tulkas challenges JohnLin to a wrestling match. :D

I bet we can stimulate matches between character builds no problem. Fun stuff, and harken back to the old posts about an Arena option or some sort of PvP (pipe dream I know).

You guys are doing an awesome job, and I am entertained by every single update.
