Gem of Warmth - the hand-warmer

Ok, so I just picked up my first (Ever) GoW, I know it doesn't have a purpose (yet) and that it's just a space marker in my inventory for the moment.

My main question "Are there genuinely plans on giving the GoW a purpose on the horizon?" v1.8? v1.9? v633.92? Does the Dev team (as it is) have something plotted out for this oddity? Maybe a hand-warmer for the upper slopes of Blackwater Mountain? Maybe drop it in water for insta-boil... great for a decent cup of tea on your hike to Remgard? Maybe a .01% chance of shoving it in a strong Maonit Brute's nose during the heat of battle and watching his head instantly explode? (or if even luckier.... his posterior end... but you might need to wash up after battle....)

Could there be a bonus to having multiples of this one? Ten of them will give you a free date with Thukuzun at any local tavern.... drinks on the house?

Just postulating... but really kinda curious.

Maybe we make a new piece of armor, the "loin cloth", and you have the option of mounting it in that ;)

A strange thing about AT is that vou are always somewhat unarmored. You can wear boots. You can wear a hat. You can wear gloves. You can wear armor above the waist. But you cannot wear anything in between that and the boots  . Not even a loin cloth

Perhaps that's why some players view AT as a hard game
