Hi everyone, have you visited Brimhaven and encountered the seer named Pangitain? "Pangitain" is the Tagalog (Filipino) word for Omen. A very apt name for a seer. Was this an intentional homage to Filipino players? Kudos to the developers! Proud Filipino Andor player here!

I did not choose the name, so I can't be sure. None of the dev team speak Tagalog, but maybe someone dropped it in there as an Easter egg. There are a few of those scattered through the game, and I don't think any single developer even knows where they all are.

I am happy that you found and like it. I created the fortune teller. My wife is half filipina and at least I know that the tagalog language exists and google can translate it. So maybe it was intensional but I don't remember it for sure.
