Just for curiosity, what happens when you get the same condition again while the first one is still in effect? The general rule seams to be that nothing happens, you just get 1 condition (like with 2 RolS). Is that the case for every item/potion? (specifically also with the HoF?)
It depends on the condition. Some conditions, such as Bleeding would, stack. Others, including Clairvoyance and Mind fog, do not.

I'd like to know the details of such a glitch. By PM if you prefer, but I don't mind you posting it publicly. I'm not aware of any such glitches.

It could be the item cloning glitch that was found and fixed back in 2012

Well, it's better than the dark protector, besides the 0-1 damage, but it widely makes up for it in the conditions. Also, you don't have to be an asshole to get it, unlike the DP

legendary in name only. This item's attributes/properties are not legendary worthy when compared to it's contemporaries.
What is cool too one may not be for another. I myself think any item is cool to have.

There's not a lot to compare to, but I would argue that its stats are better than those of the Elytharan redeemer.
