I think the devs have done an EXCELLENT & AMAZING job with the entire game! Including the legendary & extraordinary items & there drop rates. They serve their purpose perfectly! They have been keeping me busy until the next update. My only wish is that we keep getting regular updates with new content. Rather it be new quests, maps, characters, & even more of those time consuming low drop rate legendary items.
Totally agree this game is awesome I bit afraid that when it finally actually totally completed and no more updates will miss wishing and wondering about what cool new stuff will be added in next version, but I guess after part 1 they can get started on part 2 - or maybe keep the game developing like this forever with neverending updates. About the low drop rates, I wouldn't object to easier drop rates...but nothing will stop me from trying to get em!

Magically got one within a few minutes at the mountains. Like 30 lvls later still haven't got a second.
Got the Gloves now after killing probably less than 300 monsters but definitely less than 1688 since that the 5th most listed on my stat page, I literally got the Ring within minutes of trying after killing over 21000 imps/spawns to get Rapier - think it could have ever been less than 20 killed to get Ring. Gloves were easy since those monsters respawn fast and easy to kill. On to the Shield now...

Damn right we'll keep on collecting items so the more the merrier haha thank you! I break up the grind into small intervals when nothing else to do like when having a dump or something so grind gets spread out over days or months...heh heh weird to have to talk about how this game gets integrated into wherever it can fit into my daily life...

So, if you leave an area, does that mean you have to start the grind all over again? I've killed 1,000 Kazual Imp so far, and then left and finished all the quests I had hanging. Does that mean all progress was wiped when I left the temple?
And it's the same for all Legendary/exceptional Hunts?

The chance is the same.

There is no 'progress bar' per say for a legendary/extraordinary items. Each monster you kill has a chance to drop (around 0.1 or 0.01 I think) a item. So in theory you could get what you're looking for in your first kill, or after 100,000 (I don't think thats ever happened, but its possible).

It's random chance. Probability does not have a memory. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambler%27s_fallacy
