Nice. Probability does not have a memory. This quote should be in every gambling anonymous handbook.

Don't you think hunters sword is a little bit... overpowerful ? I mean, I use 2 hunters sword as dual weapons, and with 265 Attack chance I basically miss 1 attack out of ten against most monsters... which makes 7 successful hits/turn !
(And when I fight against monsters with low block chance I manage to hit them 10 times per turn if they have enough HP to survive...)

Might be a good idea to rebalance this weapon uh ?

(Sorry for my bad english)

The negative BC balances the good. Personally I think it sucks as a weapon.
Sure the AP and AC bonus is great, but the negative BC hurts.
RoL + sharp steel rapier, or now that I am loving crits and the necklace of the undead,
Flagstone sword + DOSP. Once Way of the Monk is available on the next release I will most likely go unarmed.*Hint* for the devs please add one more Crystal so I can get Unarmed skill.

How much the BC hurts can depend on how much you can count on getting the kill in a single round, I would think. Are you two guys getting different results on that, or just have different comfort levels with the risk when you don't?

:?: It doesn't have a negative BC.

Maybe you should have been more careful with the ones you had ;)

The negative BC comes when the actor condition Minor Rage is triggered. -90.

Ah. Right. But then you get an additional 60AC, and 35HP. And the condition in non-stacking, so you cannot get it from two swords.

True. One -90 is still worse than double -40 from dual QSD, but the offense is much better. All in all, you need to have the right build, like anything else.

I played with the Sword of Shadow's rage for a while. It was OK, but I went back to DoSP and a BSS. Now I use DoSP and LifeTaker.

My big guy has Life Taker and FP, with a BSS to swap for the latter for crit immune. I have the DotSP kicking around, but haven't seen a reason to swap out for it in ages. All that will change with the new release, and I'll be starting over then anyway.
