Game slow?

seriously, you can leave one potion on the quick slot...
and still rid yourself of that wretched lag.

at least on this phone...

What phone/operating syestem are u using?

LG optimus S
600MHz

works on my wife's phone too... some kinda samsung, thru sprint as well.
a lot fancier than my $20 (w/contract) phone...

im using one bonemeal on the far right slot,
i notice that when i use a second item, it slows a little & the third item sends it over the top.

AND everything is cranked up for max performance,
just to see if i can bog the game down with background APPS / functions

Odd. I'm using a Huawei Ascend (on Cricket) running the firmware Android 2.1 OS.

Personally, I had the problem after upgrading, but it went away after a few days. I currently have all three slots in use. I do switch the items there often though, so maybe that's why it left?

I should probably say I started in Alpha and assume it updated to full (I have Andor's set for automatic updates).

I wasn't meaning to say you're wrong, just point out that whatever it is affects us in various ways so apparently more than one fix exists.

My regeneration seems fine, I personally can't say for RoSL though since I'm still trying for one. But, the ring regenerates on a timer. My regeneration only comes after each kill (sword and a skill point). So my guess is that the timer causes a lag due to extra phone processor use. I could easily be wrong on that though, as my degree is with computers, not phones.

New Bug?

i was experimenting with the battle lag / quick slots issue,
trying to push the limits of the game and my phone...

with instant speed and no loot shown,
i was able to cause a Force Close by...

-finishing a battle
-clicking in & out of some menu screens (very quickly)
-saving it and killing something in one hit

after rebooting, every single quest in the game reset.
the quest givers reset their dialogue & will reward you again.

also, the monsters that drop rare items are back...
e.g. i have two venomous daggers

First I should explain my games. I kept my old character when I upgraded, but I started another then too. I decided to start again today. The first two characters have no lag, yet the character I just created lags a lot.

So my original is fine, the one from the Alpha is fine, but the newest one lags. So the lag bug seems to be at least partly due to a change made between Alpha and the release.

I've also noticed a slow down after the update to v0.6.10, but I'm also on what is now kind of an old phone.

Moto Droid (the 1st one)
running Android 2.2.1 (FRG83D)
Its overclocked to 800 MHz (instead of the standard 600) but its still not as fast as the newer more recent phones. Maybe it will run smoother when I get the Nexus Prime

ok, so after getting stronger...
and having so many things effect my "strength"

i had to reduce all my quick slots to "empty" to avoid lag...

moving into mid-game really made me start looking at cause / effect properties...
and it seems that idle processes & running memory (influenced by character development)
"slow things down"

now, 'stronger' i have to empty my quick slots... you guys were RIGHT.

this may only hamper seasoned Andor's Trailors' exploits...
so, really... it can be left on the back burner for now.

what matters most is attracting new players to AT
and trying to invite them into "our world" even if it's only for a second!

Just to add my voice..... T Mobile My Touch 3G 2.2.1 (an antique and proud of it )
Had the lag experience as well until I emptied out the quick slots.
As far as the automatic moving after combat, have not seen it since the game returned to normal speed.

Thanks for the quick slots tip as I was ready to blame my poor phone and threatened it with retirement.
