Xulvir. Bugged?

Hi guys. I decided to destroy the xulvir this build mainly because I've used all 8 ogeyth crystals. The broken sword however wasn't removed from my inventory even though the Smith guy says it's destroyed. Bugged?

In the quest log for "A creeping fear", what does it say?

Completed. It says I have destroyedthe xulvir

It's not really that important because I can drop the item but it is annoying as it should not exist after destroying it

If there's a bug, it's important in the sense that we would like to fix it.

I've found it. There is indeed a path through the dialogue with the smith where the sword is not removed from your inventory, but the quest is completed. Thanks for reporting this.

Edit: I've fixed it. Locally to me, anyway. For now it sits in my accumulated bug fixes, but at some point (obviously before the next release) I'll push them all to github so they can be merged with the main sources.

What do I do for now then just drop it in some remote location? Or just keep it for a memento 😋

Well, if it was me I would keep it as a memento :D . Since it's useless the next time I was in Crossglen I would drop it in the basket at Mikhail's so that it wouldn't clutter up my inventory, but would be in a "safe" place. What you do with it is of course up to you, but there is no way to permanently destroy it (short of hacking the savegame, anyway).

Sounds good. I'm off to drop off a few weapons there anyway. Sword of shadows rage and shadow of the player to name a couple.
