Okay so, as it stands, the lady in the tower in asking for a rose, the only options I have are positive and negative, but both arms basically, "ok I'll get a rose"
The flower guy in the garden has never offered me the option for a rose, and as it stands now the only thing I can say is out of my way I don't have time for small talk.
Now, I'll post my quest logs, and maybe you can see the problem.
I also can't find any evidence, ANYWHERE in the castle. I swear I've been on every tile Is the evidence supposed to be in the castle?
Aren't I supposed to have already gotten the rose?
What's goin on here?
Also great work devs. As the game progresses the quests change and adapt and stay interesting. It's not just explore this dungeon, kill this boss, get stronger items. That is cool sometimes, but this game keeps you playing. Nice work.

That doesn't make much sense, because when you talk to her the only requirement for the conversation path is that you have the rose in your inventory.

No need for a second rose.

My quest log says I gave her the rose. It was long enough so that I don't recall specifically if the rose was present in inventory before and then absent after.

Except I'm stuck outside in the garden and neither the guard or the gardener will talk to me about roses. Is there another way in, or did I get the quest mixed up too badly to recover?

You should be able to bribe the guard and get back in.
