Dialogue text box tile glitch

Post by The Gray »

the mossy edge of the aluir cave near where the ladder is, if you slip and fall into the water and get teleported out of the cave and get teleported to the three bridges, i cant go to that cliff edge again because the dialogue text box keeps stopping me with "oh no.. I cant swim!" i really want this bug fixed because i feel like even if it is a good thing that i cant make the same mistake twice of falling of the mossy edge, its also a bad thing because i dont have the freedom to make the same mistake twice
ALSO, please do not spoil ANYTHING for me about the area that im in because, as i type this, i havent completed the area. if you do I'll be angry 3:< im serious, dont

Feel free to read. Spoilered nothing for you on content in the below.
I don't think automatically learning from your mistakes is a bug. Also, the rocks only fall upon your head once. I felt it was ok and consistet the way it is.

But if that would change, I'd ask for rock drops to be able to happen on any tile with a % chance, repeatedly.

thanks for not spoiling anything for me. i just meant if i wanna slip on that cliff again i should be able to do it xD :33 ❤

and that would be nice (and extremely scary for me) if they could have rock falling and hole falling effects at any applicable tile, a chance for that happening atleast. :3 ❤

When the rocks fall the map changes, and there is a pile of rocks. It would not be logical to have the same rocks fall again.
I see your point about the moss though. If you are stupid enough to keep stepping on it, then you should keep falling in the water.

It could also be a deliberate shortcut out of the cave when you're done

Maybe you lose some gold each time it happens, to discourage that.

just because i want to slip and fall into the water again doesnt mean im stupid, maybe i did it to go through the dialogue texts again and get teleported outside the cave. i do like the idea of loseing gold everytime i do it. to balance it, maybe you lose more gold the higher youre level is or you lose more gold when your total gold goes past a specific point.

Gold is too cheap when you already are able to reach Arulir mountain.
I could go with loosing some random items in the river, but the outcry would be loud...

Good. If you don't like the punishment then learn to walk out of the mountain.
