I am also stuck in this place I am a level 13. There needs to be some cave snakes to grind for meat. Otherwise we are going to lose interest in the game. I can only fight the wolf west of the guard by the mind only 1 time before I am about to die and he only dropped meat occasionally.

What are you doing being at BWM @ level 13? That area of the world is way to advanced for a level 13 in my opinion.
I am shocked you were even able to get there.

Stay near of the bed. Save and rest often. Dont use any of your healing items. Grind couple level and some healing potion and then go out of BWM. BWM is difficult area. IMO under prox level 20 you only get yourself killed.

I agree, level 13 should not gain access to that area that's why I feel it is a bug I will have to spend hours or days fighting 1 hound just to get out of here and back where I was.

Here is really good topic by Micu. If you are newbie - read it before entering BWM.

You are free to travel the world, that is NOT a bug. A little bit of advice, if you encounter monsters that are really difficult to defeat that often is a clue that you don't belong there yet.

My strategy, before entering a new area, I save the game and fight a monster or two, then assess how that went and then I decide if I am able to proceed or not.

Patience is a virtue that a player has to develop; sneaking by monsters that would be too strong to defeat just to see what a new map area holds is not a strategically sound move.

Exploration is part of a RPG game and sometimes we make the wrong move and have to restore from an earlier point. Putting signs and warnings everywhere would take away from what I expect this kind of game to be. Sounds too much like a walkthrough and I am not fond of those at all.

I agree 100%. I pretty much apply the same game strategy.
