I was wondering what people think of the idea of outfits/equipment specialization. Right now it feels that there are one or two 'best sets' of equipment that everybody acquires and conquers the world with. However, how if there would be certain types of equipments that give you special protection against, say, poison, bleeding wounds, etc. Then one would possibly change the equipment used depending on the area he or she currently travels through.
If this kind of idea is interesting, then outfits would be an easy way to manage these different types of equipment. By outfits I mean that one would be able to save the set of currently worn equipment as a list under a custom name and later re-equip that set by loading said list.

+1, I like the idea of resistance item. And how about necklace of greater dark blessing of the shadow, +15% resistance against any conditition.

+1 right on target. I think I mentioned this somewhere, or merely thought about it and forgot to post, lol.
I'll see what I can come up with in the editor. I am a bit depressed because I created a full quest, took 10 hours on my phone, and my clumsy hand brushed the back button. ZAMMO! No more quest. Only had to write the dialog for one minor NPC, which would have taken 10 minutes, and the Quest would have been complete.
Oh well, maybe this will get me back in the spirit, and this time I'll remember to back it up.

Well, I gave it a shot but at this point it's impossible to make equipment specialized against actor conditions.
Hmmm, maybe the editor itself could be modified to allow for it so that users could make the stuff and those working hard on other, more pertinent, things wouldn't have to be bothered by it.

i know they wanna tweak the quest editor soon...
so more people can help out with v0.6.12 without so much guidance.
but back to the outfits, i have a scenario that i could appreciate something like this...
say - you have a critical build... but you are in an area of undead & demons / devils!
it would be great to switch over to all of my non-critical gear with a few simple taps.
these enemies are immune to critical hits,
so i switch to standard gear (without the drawbacks that critical gear offers)
MAYBE
maybe we can tie this in to the backpack idea Oskar mentioned?
(a sub section in your inventory where you hold items you dont plan on using)
like your L & E collection, thousands of rocks, etc.
[Oskar brought this up when i suggested connecting ALL of the drop boxes in the game]
naturally, a massive gear change during battle wouldn't happen...
so - im thinking...
you see a skeleton, you find a safe spot...
get in your pack & tap your Alt. Gear Tab
BAM - then go get that Skeley!!!
so more people can help out with v0.6.12 without so much guidance.

+1 on the alt gear tab. Maybe a quickslot button with a picture of armor instead of a chest that can only be used outside of battle.
