Implemented into the game? :roll: I never really thought that my ideas had a chance of getting into the game. Actually, to be honest, If I wanted something in the game, I would port it to my computer and put the new code in myself. :ugeek: The little "Open Source" marker means I can do that.

It involves events that occurred before AT written history. A hermit "Mysic" opens your eyes, so to speak, and the player learns things that have been forgotten for a millennium.. Thats it. Thats all you get. Ive had ideas stolen before. :evil: *a look of paranoia washes over me*
And the design outline! What a wonderful tool for conventionalists. I'm glad you directed me to it. I in fact did not know about it.

You're concerns are heard well, Mayweed. Deepest gratitude extends to you. But I will continue with my concept.

These are a lot better balanced. Some of them would need some adjustments, but they are a lot more reasonable. The Staff of Healing is still a little OTT though :). There are some good ideas. I like the idea of a ring that imposes a permanent negative condition, with the trade-off of a chance of a significant positive condition (or negative condition for the monster) on either a hit or a kill. The conditions for cold and frozen are a good idea too. Conceptually, The hot and burning conditions don't do it for me though, and they are rather redundant with cold and frozen conditions. "Shield" is nice too, although I would decrease the DR somewhat. Note that it's very similar to the existing condition "Shadows Protection", so it might be preferable to base the Charm of Warding on that instead.

There is already a condition called "Regeneration".

You should take note of Mayweed's comment about divinities. "Divine Protection" is not a name that fits with AT. "Shadow's Protection" would be the right choice, but that's already taken. If you really don't care whether any of your suggested items or conditions fit with the game then I guess that doesn't matter, but in that case neither do any of my comments about balancing the items, name overlaps, etc. If you wish, you can create the "Nail File of Total Invincibility".

*le sigh* I put more thought into that and decided it most likely would not work out.. I also find that I may have been rather rude with my reply to Mayweed. I offer my deepest apologies, Mayweed.

In the mean time, I have real work :lol: to do so I may or may not be working with the content editor. :cry:


P.S.: Glad you liked the Bladed Ring of Pain
P.P.S.: OTT? Over the top? And why is the staff of healing over the top? It offers the same perk that the Regen skill does.. Basically. Since it would be (Almost) impossible to fight with it. Meh.

I also clear the content editor. I have this site open in another tab: http://andorstrail.irkalla.cz/index.php . That makes it easy to see what already exists. Easier then the content editor in fact, because everything is shown as nice tables so it's easy to compare stuff, and it's all hyperlinked.

Well, it's like the Regen skill on steroids. By equipping it I get about 2 HP per round (not quite, because of the way you set up the actor condition, but on average it's about that) whether or not I'm in combat. When I get a hit I get another 2 HP, plus about another 4 HP per round for 5 rounds. That's a lot of healing! At least, I guess that was what you probably intended, but I now realize it won't work that way. You created the condition so that it does not stack. Since it's always applied when equipped, that means it would never be applied on a hit. Aside from that problem, the only thing that would make it hard to fight with is the very high attack cost. Since it's a scepter I could dual wield it, in which case I would have an AC of about 200 and an AD of 49-58. I would only get one hit per round, but if I hit every round I would get about 8 HP per round (it it weren't for the stacking problem, anyway) from the scepter alone. You could also use it when standing around and not fighting. Just equip it, and you get the same regeneration benefit as 2 RoLS (except that Shadow Regeneration also does not stack, so wearing 2 RoLS does not actually get you 2 HP per round). So IMO a little too much. Not a lot, but a little.

I know, I know, Don't start yelling at me. I know magic will never be a thing in AT, but I had an Idea and couldn't resist. :ugeek:

What do you guys think? I think it's actually viable, but again, no magic..

I have to say 'actual equipments' are really cool and you can easily convert them to act like aimed shot. make them so that if player sacrifices his turn he can have a powerful attack on enemy in next.
