the husband is missing & you have a choice to rat him out - to his wife.

he must be up to something, all hidden in the corner over there...
not only will we have a strong woman in the game early,

but also something curious & peculiar to interest the player - right away.
Do you mean Oromir? He's the one dodging his wife se of the town hall. Odair is the one in the ne corner. Ogam is the crazy dude near Vilegard, right?

And in your case vision. It's a 's' in Nyktos, not a '5'. :D

I also agree that a female character choice would be awesome, though I can imagine that it might take a while to check all the dialogue. As it stands, I just gave my character a female name & made up a backstory that she was dressed as a boy because it would make it easier for her to see the world that way, since RPGs are usually set in a medieval-ish time & place.

Overall I'm impressed that there are a lot of female characters in the game with their own backstory though. I'm also happy that the game always gave me a choice and didn't demand that I kill any of them to progress. Since I'm used to games not having much female representation, it's still hard for me to try to lessen the number of female characters in a game, even if I don't like said characters that much...

There are currently a few technical hurdles for which I have yet to find a solution to make it possible, and translatable...
Reviewing and adapting all existing dialogues is also a massive work.
This is definitely something I would love to do, but there are other priorities for now, so it'll take time.

Do you think weblate can have the English female version and so on? I know it is technically possible but would weblate peeps allow it?

Aside from whether it's possible on weblate, I think making the translations gender specific (English could be made neutral) would be a huge burden on the translators. This is a highly desirable feature, but it would be a lot of work for a lot of people.
