A bag of rocks

Saw this in another thread in reference to the "boxing glove" or "item bag" or whatever you want to call it:

I realized that a bag of rocks could be a legitimate item. Not a good item obviously. But it could exist. It could even be part of the player's starting equipment, or something that the player quests for early on, even a quest from the player's dad ("Pick up all of the rocks in the garden and put them into this sack!" then: "What do I want a big bag of rocks for? You deal with it...")
Big Bag of Rocks:
Item value: whatever $1 (for the bag) and 50 small rocks would cost?
Weapon
AP cost: 10
AD: 5-7
AC: 5
Obviously no one in their right mind would continue to use this, but it'd help with the "no damage" gap in the first 5 levels, and it would feel highly satisfying to hit rats with a big bag of rocks. It would also be a final answer to the question: "What is that strange looking boxing glove?" "That's my big bag of rocks."

Just realized that someone else already posted a similar bag of rocks, and it was already in the list of links. Whoops. Only difference is that I disagree with them about how fast you can swing around a bag of rocks.

Yeah, I saw that they made it happen in Remgard, and require like 10 Arulir skins, and my first thought was, "RP wise, that's great. Gameplay wise, zero people are going to use that."
