Trust me it's there search the house area and the field area. Do it like how a yard gets mowed. It is nerve racking and it's a pain but it's there
I've said all through the linked thread that I search very thoroughly - I first do vertical walks going top to bottom from one side to the other, I skirt both ways around any obstructions, I then do exactly the same horizontally. I must by now have at least eight characters who have completed this quest, this character has spent more time than all the others put together and then some.

Is it possible that it's been discarded in the manner described in the first post of this thread?
A systematic search of every tile does not guarantee that you will find it. It is there though. You just have to keep searching.

I've gotten the impression that if you tap anywhere else but on the dialogue box then that tap means the same as 'close' -- so you won't actually lose any items or anything you've gained. So it can't cause a bug like that. But losing the information/notification accidentally isn't great, so I also vote for only the Close button closing the box.

Maybe you accidentally kicked the marble away? Lol

Well it means the appear rate is random, you might spend hours searching for the last marble if ur unlucky

It's not really random, but it certainly could appear to be.

I too have this problem. My prev hero at 42 lvl found all balls in one go. My current one at lvl 51 is unable to find the fifth one, no matter what. This is really annoying and I'm sometimes starting to be really pissed off. I managed to solve 61 quests and I visited 505 places and I have returned several times to this poor kid and his pointless marbles, and still NOTHING! This is the worst quest ever. I did everything in that place, I scanned this damn lawn in every possible directional, quickly, slowly, diagonally, inside, outside, with margin, behind fences, just crazy everywhere. The only areas left are dog 9 square and some inaccessible corners behind the fences. What the heck? How to dig that fifth marble??

Hello piotao, and welcome to the forums.
Sorry for your frustration
They move around. So it's not really a case of where you have not searched, but rather that when you searched one place, it was somewhere else. But then when you searched there, it had moved again. Try zigzagging the fields, gradually working your way from one side to the other.

Well, I was irritated, yes, but the problem with this quest still bothers me. Is there any tactics I can try? Maybe this last marble is randomly generated somewhere on a inaccessible place? Maybe I really have to enter the chunk from correct angle?
And besides that - thanks to every dev and supporter for AWESOME game! I never played anything as good as AT on my cell phone.

I just start in a corner and move in a straight line in a column. Then go in a straight line in the opposite direction. Then move to the next column and repeat

I still haven't found the last marble, (with the one character I mentioned earlier).
