piotao wrote: Sat Apr 04, 2020 12:57 am Well, I was irritated, yes, but the problem with this quest still bothers me. Is there any tactics I can try? Maybe this last marble is randomly generated somewhere on a inaccessible place? Maybe I really have to enter the chunk from correct angle?
And besides that - thanks to every dev and supporter for AWESOME game! I never played anything as good as AT on my cell phone.
I have said how it works, something I have avoided disclosing until now. There is no magic tactic. It's in one of the fields, somewhere.
Imagine that it's an invisible monster that you really do not want to encounter. Run around all over the place, and eventually you will. ;)

Well, few hours of wandering on two fields later I still have no clue where it can be. How it works? If I move to the left, is this Ball also moving somewhere in same or random direction? Or is it just randomized somewhere adhoc? If I move constantly between two points, do this Ball move the same path or is it random? If I moved so many times on those squares, it was well enough for that Ball to roll even to Vilegard and back with each of my step. Many times! I've already calculated all squares and all bushes, thinking about probabilities of finding moving Ball in the area...

I just want to make sure that you are staying within the confines of the fence do not leave the fenced in yard. I cannot believe you're having this much difficulty with this quest as it is pretty damn simple. Up down up down left up down up down left up down up down left... Avoid the bush.. up down.

When there's a random element, someone's going to be unlucky sometimes.

It's just random. I can't believe you can wander around in those two fields for a "few hours" and not run into it. That is possible of course, but incredibly unlikely. What does your quest log say?

I think that's directed at piotao, but I'm still in the same position with one character, (having completed it with at least eight others) after the quest preamble, mine says:-

I found a green marble
I found a red marble
I found a pink marble
I found a golden marble.

Thank you all for replies. In my quest log I have different marbles. They are grey, pink, golden and pearl. I did this search dozen of times, vertically, horizontally, diagonally, circulating around bushes, and moving randomly. In fact, if missing ball position is randomized after each step, I can do only few moves here and there repeatedly and this should work just the same way. I tried that also. It is really unlikely to have such lack of luck!

just run back and forth a few tiles probably won't work.
The missed marble could be any place in the 2 yards. Although the position is random, it won't change very quickly and not to any place. You'll have to run around everywhere in the two Yards - not only once, but probably several time.

I'll probably delete this two days from now, so take note:
East: Green, Pink, Golden
West: Red, Pearl.

If it is not working with the hints of rijackson you might send me your savegame. Maybe I can find if there is an issue.
