for the town of stoutford I was thinking of having all of the regular shops. the shops could be a mixture of everything. light and heavy armor, daggers, sword, axes, ect. for quests I was thinking you could go talk to the captain of the guard with the request of clearing out the cave just north of the city with the thick brush blocking the entrance. he could give you a quest item to that will remove the brush. it could have 5 rooms opening up into a large cavern with 2 bosses. it could be a chance to use some interesting combo's, e.g. one could be immune to crit's while the other heals on hit. both could have a large damage reduction as well as lots of hp. their damage could be low so as to keep it balanced with an ok attack chance and block chance. giving them only a 10% or 20% crit chance with x2 or x2.5 damage would be cool to see. maybe give one daze at 30% and the other bleeding wounds x3 3%. the quest would offer maybe 8000 exp and 400 gold. making it a pretty good transfer quest from 10-11.

The quest you mean is Vacor's Cave, accessible after the Remgard Quest found in the inn.

If you don't know something, you should play the game through and/or go to the AT Directory. Many places haven't been constructed, nor have many quests. Once you think you have a good feel for the game (usually by playing it through all the quests) then you should consider developing your own piece of AT. I hope you do and good luck!

So, FNG here, how can I step in and help design quests and dialog? Great game, already addicted, no coding knowledge though... done some quest design for other games, pre-android though... namely, astonia 3... (player: The Bol) as well as homebrew d&d (all "editions" since odd)

hi guys!
New to the forum and i can say i am crazy about this game. I have downloaded Tiled and did a map, I am planning to do bunch of maps but not sure if i can test them. Anyway you guys did some great job.
Also if you would like i can try and translate this game to croatian.
Feel free to PM me.

EDIT:

it is a bit hard to see but everything is ok with picture. I took special care about details and that road is always the same size and in starts and ends in the same place. i need someone to test the tmx files. I have a lot of free time at the moment and am willing to work on the maps.

When our fearless leader has the time, I'd love to discuss integrating some of the new UI features that I prototyped earlier (presets, favorites, sorting, categories).

Currently they're mixed with the gameplay changes, but I'd be glad to separate them into a different build/branch if he requests it.

It looks good, but the road in cabine_norcity_road5 looks narrower, and doesn't meet the road in the adjacent tiles correctly.

Road is good and it meets on all adjacent tiles correctly... i had some trouble copying it to paint.. i will make another pic to show you...
I just wanted to know is it any good and to send tmx files to someone to test them, i am willing to make more maps, i have free time. I would like to know that this project is not dead and that I am not wasting my time doing maps.
