right? we lost the lead Developer & have been jumping through hoops to make the next update possible.
when Oskar left it made things hard on us - but not impossible.

luckily for the project, we had some nice guys jump in to keep the game ALIVE!

we are not your normal Dev Team. and this is not a normal app, nor is this a normal forum.
we take this very seriously (for no other reason than fun & making something awesome)

i want to spend more time producing for AT but i just can't.
when i can I DO! (with gusto)

we want AT to grow, but we are very busy & have critical stuff happening constantly.
half these ninja's are running really heavy stuff all day long & come back home.
what do they do? they hop on the forum to see how we can make the update better.

the main thing?
quality.
we wont just release something half-baked for extra downloads.

we will release it when it's hot & fresh (ready) for public use.
we aim high, and sometimes polish takes time.

a huge thanks to EVERYONE that keeps coming back & checking on our progress.
i find this project legendary like Zelda & Final Fantasy.

i think this will go somewhere.
sometimes - it - takes time.

we are working hard & we want everyone happy.
it wont always happen though.

Hey guys, been a while since I've been here. Sad to hear oskar left the project :0 I see some familiar people are still around though!! Was hoping I'd give the game a break and then come back to vast amounts of content .lol. Any wait for this game is generally pretty darn worth it, that's for sure!

Thanks. We are working on it, and it's getting closer. Oskar leaving kind of derailed things for a while, but it's back on track now. It's not moving as fast as the early days, but it is moving :D

it already has surpassed most games of both series. :3 gonna be tough to overcome Breath of the wild, FFIII or VI. :3 but you already surpassed Skyrim in my eyes... which is easy. but still. ANY WHO DISAGREE WITH ME I SHALL SEND YOU INTO THE
GREEN MAZE AT LEVEL 10 (since that is probably the lowest one can get to... maybe... shhhhhhh all of you.
SO THERE!

edit: forgot to close the bold print. teehee

These would be a great way to give players a hint about the milestones they reached, something like a summary of the quest log.
As for numerical things like "number of X monsters killed", it'd be better if there was an NPC that gave you a reward when reaching such milestones (like a "trophy head" maybe).

8. Would you use different types of attack stances?[/list]
Attack stances, as in defensive, balanced, offensive?
Well it certainly wouldn't be wrong but we'd need a combat log message to say something rpg-ish like "You shift to a more cautious stance, sizing up your opponent" or "You shift to a more reckless stance, frenzied by battle."
It could be a nice way to mix things up, and I'd do it for the rpg feel, personally.
Achievements are definitely a must have. It will be beneficial to the game. Retention will go up.
Stances will be a very non-intrusive addition to fighting.
These small adjustments will definitely spice AT up. Very valuable to me. I know b/c I've played many games. Many types of games as well.

So, we know that the top left of the full map will be Feygard and ocean, the bottom left will be Undertell, and the bottom right will be Nor city and mountain. What about the top right?

Remgard. It's already there.

Undertell is not exactly bottom left. Stoutford and perhaps Mt Galmore are planned further left (west), I believe.

I thought Stoutford was very near...

The maps shown here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4736 are out of date, not entirely complete, and subject to change. They are approximately correct though.
