I have no Idea if this is the right place for this. I started a new Char and just thaught it is to easy to become bonemeal drinks. Perhaps it is worth to think about to make them harder to get. As example you need one bone for one bonmeal drink (or something like that)? I really don't know if this is a good idea, but perhaps it makes sense :)

I remember many many years ago thinking this exact same thing. Oskar was not a fan of changing this. But with new management, new people bring new ideas and opinions.

It was a lot easier back in the days when you could simply tilt your phone to replenish the stocks of the merchant. I think it is fine now, as it gives a much needed boost to the exploration capability of the more casual players.
The consequences of drinking bonemeals we thought about for the end-game will surely give an incentive not to use them to the more dedicated ones.

I remember the time when the skills in Andors Trail didn't exist. Trinking bonemeal portions were thee only chance to recover from hard fight and get through the caves.
Now at "low" levels - when you need to spend all the money for better equipment and BC is low - bonemeal is one choice to restore health.
Later - when you have some points in recovery (the right name for the skill?) and BC is high enough not to be hit by every attack - the need for any health restoring portion is sinking, until your level is so high and your stats so good that no cave, no enemy and no end boss triggers even one drop of sweat - until you play the game at 40°C in the summer in bright sunshine (which no display can handle I guess).
Changing aviability or price of bonemeal portions makes the live of low to middle level player harder - is that really good? - but beyond a certain level it has no meaning.
Imho don't change it ;)

That's a very good point.

One suggestion: Once you get to Lodar, and his potions, Thoronir runs out of supplies, and won't make any more. That would make them harder to get and more expensive beyond a certain point, but they are better potions.
