Hello fellow adventurer!

we have created a new version - you can try the beta before the rollout to Google Playstore!
It is a mix of new features and new content and we'd love to hear your feedback.

New things in version 0.7.8
  • We have eight additional maps in an area far far away, with lots of Arulirs. You probably know where to look.
  • Two new maps together with a quest can be found in the mountains east of Prim.
  • For another quest, look for a young, eager man in some tavern.
  • And for completeness: There is a new map in Stoutford Castle and another in the BWM mine.

And we have enhanced the engine
  • For new characters you can choose a hardcore mode:
    • There are no additional saves allowed (no save/reload tactics)
    • Limited lives: If your hero dies once too often, they never wake up. If you choose the permadeath mode, you only get one life!
We promise, you will play in a different style...
  • Up to now, languages have been limited to English or your local language, as determined by Google localization. Now you can choose between different languages that are translated to a significant extent:
    • 93% German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Spanish
    • 81% Portuguese
    • 85% Portuguese Brazil
    • 59% French
    • 45% Hungarian

At last some bugs are fixed
  • Localization handling on screen turn
  • AP reset after fight
  • Corrected display of negative values for ranges

You can download the APK here: static/AndorsTrail_v078_beta2.apk
  • First uninstall the Google Play (or F-Droid) release in order to be able to install this one
  • DON'T OVERWRITE YOUR OLD SAVES. Or they will be lost in limbo forever.
  • A savegame of this beta version CAN NOT BE USED LATER for a productive version.

Important: A key change is the new game mode.
In the case of limited saving or limited lives, intermediate statuses cannot be saved as savegames as before. It is essential that this function has been thoroughly tested (and not only by us devs) before it is published in Google Playstore. It would be disastrous if players loose their saves by wrong usage or program failure.

So please help to verify this new mode!
And now have fun trying it out!

I got a question I completed the merchant quest but when I go back to talk to him it says quest updated is that how it's supposed to go or shouldn't it not complete until after he says
after I have one more beer[ then I met him again about the fish. But the quest said completed so it doesn't show up in the quest unless I look the quest up in my completed quest/
So how do I know when it's fully done?
You met Burhczyd afgz Dtaloumiye, a likable young man, in a tavern. He wanted to see the world and followed your advice to travel as a trader from city to city.
In another tavern you met Burhczyd again. He never got any customers, because he had named his company 'Burhczyd afgz Dtaloumiye - Transports'. You told him to find an easier name.
You saw Burhczyd in a tavern, but he still did not have any customers. You told him that 'B.A.D. Transports' was not a good idea either.
Another place, another tavern, Burhczyd again sitting there. He did get a shipment from Remgard of almost fresh fish, but nobody wanted to buy it. You bought the entire cargo and got it disposed of.
What a surprise - you met Burhczyd again in a tavern. He told you that he finally sold something successfully - his cart. The fool, how will he earn money now?
In a tavern a bard sang in a high, shrill voice. It's an old acquaintance - Burhczyd. His singing was incredibly bad. Maybe he should just play his instrument without singing?
Again you met Burhczyd in a tavern. He told you that he had become a master thief.
Because I found him in other places even though it said completed spoiler]

Starting new game with permadeath mode, tried to kill my hero twice. Ewerything works fine so far,
playing in this mode is some kind of thrilling . I really like it.
Actually I'm on level 6 so i cant' reach new regions.
I've met strange named young man in Fallhaven, give him an advice - and quest is done. Thats's ok?

The young merchant one? I'm having a issue in there I found him four more times and all it says is quest updated but since the quest is completed it doesn't stay as an active quest

I 've only found him the first time so far, and was also confused that it says quest completed. Shouldn't this work more like Halvor?

What do you mean? That house has been there for a very long time.

Sorry that's my understatement. I think about something inside this house.
