It will be nice if you can still access the savegame and see the stats even after your character is dead.
Maybe teleport the character to a room with no way out?

!!! You're a greyed-out ghost not able to leave the room or area where you died and can't interact with NPCs/mobs. Like a real ghost, basically. Haunting that same place forever.

Or, alternatively, stuck on a plot in the graveyard. Mikhail is standing next to the plot and he's saying things but can't hear you saying things.

This is a really interesting idea and a nice solution for the problem. I don't think we will change it for this release but maybe for the next one. So better don't die before.

I like this version.
Everything on the map would be walkable, except that you can't go past the graveyard walls (and, for technical reasons, you can't walk through Mikhail). So you can walk through trees, gravestones etc.

I'm trying the permadeath mode, and I noticed that the Loneford rush strategy has been removed, which is good.

Also, I am playing permadeath WITHOUT Increased Fortitude (nor +5 HP levels of course). If that's not hell mode, I don't know what is.

Here's what I thought about the permadeath mode:
  • Increased Fortitude at level 5 is highly recommended, although people would probably take it anyway (not me, because I am stupid).
  • Evasion 4 would be much more important as you don't want to die in a single failed flee attempt.
  • If you don't like hit-and-run strategy, you should probably pay some effort into block chance or damage resistance
  • Lodar's cave and the Graveyard could be the most difficult part, if you get caught, you are probably dead.
By the way, I've tried cloning the savegame, but you can only access one of them, and all other copies are corrupted, as they should be. Haven't tried the re-installing method tho, but I don't want to try it anyway.

Can't wait to see the v0.7.8 release

Thx for trying to get around the save restriction.
What do you mean by 'corrupted copies'?

When you loaded one of them, other copies cannot be loaded anymore. This is what you get if you tried.

Cool - I never got this message in my tests :)

When you're playing in this mode you should just be aware to save, before you start or load another character, or before you delete the Andors-trail app for any reason.

What did they change exactly?
