After installing 0.7.10, I see the woodcutters hatchet has been changed to a 6AP weapon. Looks like the rest are the same as they were in the previous version.

The woodcutters hatchet has always been 6AP.

Woodcutters' Axe is 5ap in 079. In 0710 it's 7ap

Seems this will make the Yatagan pretty useless :(
The Yatagan is working very well for me in v0.7.9, with its 4-12 damage (8 on average).
Previously I had a Hardened iron longsword, with a damage of 2-6 (4 on average).
So the damage increment due to the weapon was doubled with the Yatagan!
But looking at the source code, the setNonWeaponDamageModifier of longsword_hard_iron is 115, but for the sword_g03_crackshot it's only 113.
So now the Yatagan is even weaker than the Hardened iron longsword... Or am I missing something?

The difference between 113 and 115 is insignificant. So Yatagan has higher AD, higher AC, and criticals.

Ah I get it, thanks. I was imagining that this weapon rebalancing would replace the AD. It seems the AD of the weapon still applies. The weapon rebalancing is just like an extra bonus. Then I guess it's fine, though the original 125 would have been better :P

The damage modifier is a multiplier for non-weapon damage. (115 in the code means x1.15)

Out of curiosity, how long do you typically run the betas until it hits release? Getting ancient to progress in 7.10 with my real chars :-)
