Translation Issues - Acronyms

You are right, they sound better. I thought I read "Benommenheit" as translation for "stunned" somewhere, but can't find it again :?

Another topic to discuss:
According to this thread there are people having trouble with abbreviations as they usually consist of the first letters of the name of an item/skill. This can be a problem as the translation does not lead to the same abbreviations. Imho this is not a really big problem, but a problem nonetheless.
My suggestion is to include the original abbreviation in brackets behind the translation.

Do we have "official" abbreviations for Cleave, Evasion and Regeneration?

i dunno, i tend to use ''Regen'' in lieu of the full ''Regeneration''...
but if its one word i usually just spell it out.

i also left out merchant, dodge & evasion (for the same reason).

I strongly disagree on that one. It would be very annoying and confusing for most of the players. (me included :|)
Most of the skills do not have memorizeable abbreviations. So I fear they will not be used in the forum so often.

IMO we should investigate if it would be possible to change the language on the fly. This would really solve the issue. For now someone could create a topic with full names in the different languages and English abbreviations of the most important items, of all skills and of all stats.
