I have thus renamed Blackmarrow, Cœur-Noir and Marrowtaint, Souille-au-Cœur.

Another proposal, currently Blackwater Mountain settlement is translated by 'campement de la Montagne de Blackwater'. I was thinking that 'Colonie du Mont des Eaux-Noires' would be nicer. What do you think about it?

I have found two sentences very close in the original language files: https://github.com/oskarwiksten/andors- ... .json#L298 and https://github.com/oskarwiksten/andors- ... .json#L336. Same translation for me, but perhaps those two sentences would be better merged in only one in source files?

Te current data format doesn't allow replies (sentences said by the player) to be mutualized as they are an integral part of the NPCs sentence data-wise.
This has bothered me for a while, but I've not yet figured out a better way.
Copy-pasting similar replies is the current way to do, but it is also error-prone, and it is easy to miss one that was written by someone else and/or a long time ago.
I'm open to suggestions, but a deep understanding of the current data format is mandatory.

Ok, I see. It's about code then, and I have not yet get a look at it. Perhaps in a second time, when I will be done with the translation.

Otherwise, any opinion on my proposal of 'Colonie du Mont des Eaux-Noires'? I highly hesitate between 'Colonie', 'Campement', 'Camp', 'Village' or 'Installation'. Whatever, for 'Mont des Eaux-Noires', it sounds nice, no?

Campement might be better.

Hi !

I think the word "colonie" suggest a form of isolation that we find less in the word "campement". Furthermore a "campement", is something more temporary, IMO.

I would go with "colonie", personnaly.

It's why I have chosen 'colonie' first. Blackwater Settlement is obviously less than a village and more than a simple and temporary encampment. 'Campement' suggest from my point of view a form of nomadism, and it doesn't seem to fit well with Harlenn's territorial claims and will to defend his place against Prim.

Really like souille-au-coeur. Also prefer colonie to campement for the same reasons as Arkatoo and PomCompot. Maybe "Domaine?"

I find Eau-Noir a bit too literal. There is no body of water near the mountain, although in English normally something called Blackwater would. Unless it's named after someone. As such, something like "Mont du lac noir" or "Mont de la rivière noire" may be more appropriate.

Blackwater is a fairly common name in English. We could simply use an already made translation for it. For example, Blackwater rush and Blackwater bay in game of thrones were translated to French as "La Néra" and "Baie de la Néra." I'm not sold on this one however as it doesn't sound quite as sombre as Blackwater does, and "nera" is (feminin) Italian for black. I'm still looking for more...

Question about punctuation: does AT support chevrons? Should we use quotes or chevrons for the French translation?
