May you could post an image with transparent background, then I will include it and update the files on gdrive

some other things: While testing the .apk Zukero made i stumpled over a few things:

-could not enter the arulirmountain2.tmx - is it integrated in the loadressources files?
-The Key area doesn't work, i dropped with my char all arulirskins i had and was still able to enter the region
-Are there too many monsters? maybe a few less would be better <- Someone else tested it already?

Here you go. I created the last one from a copy and paste. This time I actually downloaded your png and edited it. I think maybe the eyes are too small to be seen on a phone screen though, so here are three versions, with different size eyes.

Thx for the images rj,

There is one need to be done to make the maps look better; update the cavewall_3.png spritesheed with the four black tiles i made; unless there is no black cavewall alligned to the bottom border i wont be possible to put the ladders in the Object-layer and so below the hero.
Here is what i made:

Sorry, but it's not clear what you want. The blue and purple tiles do not match. Do you want grayscale tiles that match the blue or the purple tiles, except for the color? If so, which one?

arulirmountain2 works when I load it in debug, so it is an issue with the apk file, not your coding, I think?

The key area fails in debug mode, I am not sure why... everything you did seems to be in line with the wiki. I found that sometimes a 'key' area programming was the opposite of what I expected (got very frustrated over this at one point) but that does not seem to be the case. The phrase does not appear, nor does the bridge get blocked, either way.

Is this intended as a farming area? If yes, then there are the appropriate amount, if you are rather aiming to challenge players (with death) then I believe the AC needs to be raised on most of the mobs. Even getting 2-3 Arulirs on me was not threatening - sure they can crit, but I did not feel 'threatened'.

I playtested this with a level 31 with 55 BC, and a 46 with 100 BC... the level 46 they cannot hit at all. I got to the boss at level 31 with <20 major health potions. I think that the AC is artificially lowered because we 'expect' people to have low BC from posts on the forums. That is just my thoughts.

Awesome you tested the maps by yourself! I don't know why the key area is not working. while producing and testing the content on my device it was never a problem... Do the traps all work with popping up text-boxes when you test it?
I really wonder that you aint got problems with the arulir (and even the boss) while testing with your char... i tested it with my lvl 72 char and without a RoL and some potions i would have been dead several times - maybe my build is just not good enough ^^
The area is attempted to be a farm area at first, actually there are no quests in plannings for it. Gornauds drop colored crystals, that could be related to some kind of quest, but i not purpose to write it.

@Moerit: I just like your new area! :D I hope the have fixed up all bugs/ issues and then we can make it playable for everyone!
It's also great you uploaded your files to make them accessible to everyone in the forums.

Could you elaborate a bit on this ? Maybe we have a bug, or otherwise, maybe I can clarify the situation.

Is this what you need? I had to go back to the original spritesheet because the tiles in the one I downloaded from your post are the wrong size. I think they have to be 32x32.

In a spate of boredom I also created a few more Arulirs. Rather than just changing the color of the sash (or whatever it's supposed to be) I changed the body color as well. There's a brown one and a golden one. I also tried to create one that would work as the Boss. I'm not sure I succeeded very well in that regard, but I included it anyway :lol: Use them if you want to, don't use them if you don't want to.

BTW, I noticed that the Demonic Arulir and the Arulir Pack Leader only have a critical multiplier of 2. Is that intentional?
