NoUD helps a lot , especially at lower levels. And if you also get a RoL you are pretty much invincible. I thought the same thing about marrowtaint before I started going for crits and stopped using RoL, then I made the switch to the necklace of the undead.

You can get a decent cloth hat in "Surprise?" already.
How ?

Easter egg that we don't want to give away.
Hint: see Lodar before talking to Halvor when he is near Remgard.

Something I have thought about for a while is to change the attack cost advantage of JoF and Marrowtaint to a non-stacking actor condition. The advantage of doing that would be that we could add the same condition to other items, such as rings. You could still never get more than -1 to your attack cost, but your options for doing that would be a lot wider than just two necklaces.

Thoughts anyone?

Yes. You are off-topic. :D

Somewhat. There are earlier posts referring to JoF and MT. So my off-topic reply is to an off-topic reply ;)

Sure, sounds like a good way forward to me. I'm always a fan of giving people more gear options for their builds.

Thank you all for derailing my thread and transforming it to something else useful :-) please, go ahead. Lovely idea!

Oh, and while you are at it and in generousity mode, don`t forget the cloth globe trotters :-p

Ok back to cloth globetrotters... any really special item, whether quest reward or boss drop, etc, will work equally well for every build. If you know an item isn't going to help you, you're free to decide whether to skip it or to get it anyway, for the xp, for completeness, etc.

I tried, but I found nothing about the hat, any more hints?
