Feline and Blackwater Items

Post by Grim Reaper »

I was thinking that it would be great to have "Set" type of items instead of "Rare" type for Feline and Blackwater Items (their own color as well, perhaps redish or blackish). It is also very desirable that we get Feline Hat (Clumsiness effect could go to -20 and -20 instead) (I do feel negative effect is too small as it is now). It would be nice to rename Robe of the Sublimate to Feline Robe of the Sublimate and apply Clumsiness to it, renamed to Feline Clumsiness. Conditions caused by set effects could be shown in other color from other conditions, maybe in same color as their backround. I would love to see blackwater boots and blackwater gloves as well. Blackwater Missery should be fine as it is, as it already gives enormous negative stats.

A hat for the Feline partial set would be lovely. The Robe of the Sublimate is its own thing, and is one of the few good robes out there for enough other types of builds that I'd hate to make it only good for the Feline set, though a separate Feline robe would also be nice. But I don't think there's a way to just double the Clumsiness, or any other unstackable actor condition just because you add more pieces.

I haven't really tried the Blackwater set, so I'm not sure whether making it more complete would make it overpowered or not.

I meant to increase clumisiness effects overall, not as stackable factor... They are currently overcome by one item. Also i editted post a little bit, as i forgot to add some of information i wanted to add in it.

I do not think you will want to equip that robe in no case but when you go unarmored... and then you are forced to equip cloth as whole. Only cloth set atm is feline

It's hard to increase the penalty on the Actor Condition between versions, because people who have built around that combo will suddenly find that they need to rethink their game, perhaps in the middle of a nasty area.

I would say it would be better either to create a new set with its own penalty tuned to the combined bonuses or simply to make the additional items less special so they don't become so overpowered as a group. The first method is probably the better.

Maybe I'm spoiled, but I haven't really considered Clumsiness as being too weak a penalty already, but a hat and/or robe would have to be carefully tuned (as much a I'd love to see us cats rule the world!) to avoid making the set OP.

Anybody who wont be able to find his path back because -13 block and attack chance surely wasnt supposed to go there in first place. Also, i am sure mods could add an indormation that Clumsiness condition will be getting a debuff, and to stay in safe area until update airs.

-50 AC, -50 Crit and +1 to Attack cost from Blackwater missery or -7 to Attack Chance and -7 To Block chance from Feline, which is actually a lot better set.

Maybe because Feline was introduced so much later, I think if it as a late game set, and so less overpowered for the stage of the game. I haven't actually compared the cost to see if you can afford them as early as when you can finish BWM. Also, I think the Blackwater set has more offensive power in the bonuses than the Feline set, besides certainly being more complete.

Blackwater boots and gloves already exist. And I will not tell you where they are. You can look for them, they're not hard to find.

We like to shy away from modifying existing items for the points that tomcat is already pointed out. If you want to make a hat or a robe we will make new items with the appropriate stats.

The clumsiness actor condition is fine the way it is.
Yes, Teksin is the man with your desired items.
