Zukero: you're right, I confused the albums.
No need for a disclaimer though ;) My opinion on them is actually pretty similar to yours, I just love their artwork and that's it pretty much.

Hehe. Too bad the forum rules wouldn't let me go all out on what I think about them :D
Especially as I'm the one supposed to enforce them....

On my Galaxy S7,, you must swipe the edge of your hand across the screen. That button combo doesn't work.

Btw my Droid desktop is pretty much stock, but with a pic of my kids from my wedding last year.

Samsung is trying to break away from android entirely & make Tizen their OS... ever see Apple Pay, Android Pay & Samsung Pay and thought it was redundant? yeah, this is why. same with how they ditch a lot of pure AOSP function, like taking a screen shot.

don't even get me started about their Launcher, TouchWiz.

Tizen looks great, thanks to a UI based on the EFLs, the Enlightenment Foundation Libraries. Other than that, it's just another locked down, proprietary OS, originally aimed at low-perf devices or IoT.

I'm just glad they recruited enough enlightenment devs to work full-time for it to make good progress. It's my favorite Linux desktop.

So it's a layer between Android and the user, like HTC Sense on my ancient Glacier I used previously. How do I tell if my phone is using it?

Nope. It's a whole new OS. Can't run Android apps on it afaik.

I don't believe they will do this for phones. It would be commercial suicide. They would go from being a market leader to a has-been overnight.
