can it be possible to change the name of hero of a saved file??
Save your game in a particular slot. Make a backup of it! Open it in a binary file editor and search for your current character name. This occurs in two places: one near the start of the file, and one much later on. Ignore the first one. Edit the second, and save the file. When you load it you will still see your old name, but if you then save it again the file will fix itself (basically, when saved it changes the first occurrence to match the second).
I think HxD was a pretty good one for windows.
